I hate doctors. I hate needles. I hate blood. There, I said it. Well, it's no surprise that Austin does too. All was good in the beginning. He was hamming it up, showing off his muscles and his "horn" hand signal he gives everyone. He weighed in at 35.25 pounds and 37.75 inches. Dr. Hamm projected my little shorty to be between 5'5" and 5'7". Lets hope for the 5'7". I guess with his DNA, he didn't have much of a choice. Anyway, he was fine until it was time for the CBC. I told him on the way there that they might put this magic thing on his finger that would pop and make his blood drip out, trying to ease him into it. He was all pumped about it. He handed his little hand right over to her, she popped that finger pricker thing and all hell broke loose. "Mama, she hurt me. Hers mean. Hers made me bweed." Oh, talk about breaking your heart. He cried and carried out rather dramatically for a while that his finger hurt but he warmed up to Dr. Hamm once he came in. Steve is taking him next year. He has to get 4 shots. I can't handle it!

Oh, I got my eyebrows waxed today too. Holy Kelly Clarkson. Talk about hurt. I thought I was going to yell out profanity across the salon.

HAHAHA - I completely understand, I hate it when Brynlea has to get shots BUT I always have to be the bad parent & hold her down b/c her daddy (yes, the big fireman) can't watch his baby girl screaming like she's dying. Also, finger pricks are the worst... I think I'd rather have a shot in the booty. Well, hope you have a VERY Happy Valentines! ~Nikki F
