My irrational fear

I realized at the fair that I have a slightly irrational fear of carnies. Ok, I'm sure that they are highly intelligent, skilled, talented creatures from God, but that being said, they aren't the most hygienic well spoken people on the planet either. Once I realized that I was putting my life and my families life in the hands of someone who couldn't manage to shower daily and greet you with a smile and a nice hello, I got a little worried. I mean seriously, I know that these people can collect tickets, reply Cherry Pie on the CD player 57 times and smoke a cigarette at the same time which obviously makes them multi-taskers, but still. These folks assemble these rides in minutes and don't look capable of unwrapping a fresh bar of soap or adding detergent to the wash. I had to just sit back and laugh at the situation. Lord, forgive me for judging and talking about others but I had to photograph them just for memory's sake.
