My mom is the queen quilter these days. She's made some really pretty ones. Well, I'm sure alot, err most of you, don't know that Steve and I are getting divorced and I'm trying to fill my time with anything I can to keep me busy. So, I've decided to try to make a quilt of my own. I am going tomorrow to buy the fabric and I *hope* I can make this... We shall see. She tried to teach me how to knit this week too and well, that didn't go over so well.

Kristy, I am soooooo sorry to hear about you & Steve. I had no idea. Please know I'll be remembering you in my prayers & I'm hear if you need to talk. Also good luck with the quilt; my mom is a quilter & I use to help when I still lived at home.

Wow, that seems like a big task to me. I just started sewing & have almost completed my 2 outfits but quilting, looks intimidating! Good luck I can't wait to see the finished product. I am also thinking about taking the sewing class again if you are interested in doing it. I will email you the info.
Dang Kris, I am sorry to hear that, that blows, or maybe it doesn't for you, I am not real sure, but one thing is for sure, you will survive and you have a lot of talent to make you money and keep you busy as if the little guy isn't enough to keep you going!
