Children's author, Rhonda Friend is coming to Hueytown Elementary today to read the students one of her books so the kids got to dress up like cowboys, farmers or farm animals. My last minute idea was to get Austin a white T and pants and sharpie them to look like a cow. Don't laugh! That's all I could come up with last minute! I called Leslie to the rescue because her boys have been cowboys since way back when and I knew she could rescue Austin from the laughs. She assembled (and ironed!) this adorable get-up for me at 9:00 last night. Austin jumped up out of bed this morning (which never happens!) and quickly transformed into a cowboy! He wanted to ride his stick horse into school but I had to draw the line somewhere! He's just the cutest little thing I have ever seen!
