Mother's Day at Alabama Adventure
I wanted us to go to Alabama Adventure for Mother's Day. Between work and baseball, we spend so much time running around, on the phone and at the computer and all I wanted to do was spend some fun time with my boys. We woke up thinking it might be too cool outside but we went anyway. The Williams family went with us and Austin had so much fun having Ty to ride things with him. We got there around noon and it was almost empty. The kids got to ride rides several times without ever getting off! We spent the first few hours riding the rides and the boys loved it. Stephen and Damon rode Zoomerang and after they got off, I decided I wanted to ride, even though I had a dress on so Stephen rode with me again. That thing is crazy fun! If you notice the random oriental man in my pictures, he was crazy! He was on the Hurricane when Damon and Austin rode and they stopped the ride to let him off. Keep in mind that the Hurricane is what we called the Himalaya... so not a ride that would scare you off... So he followed us to the mini cars and rode those. I mean seriously! A grown man riding a kiddie ride all by himself. It's not like he had a child to ride with. He chose of his own free will to get on this little ride. It just made me laugh. Anyway, we finished up the rides and luckily it had warmed up enough for the kids to go to the water park. They played a couple hours while we relaxed in a lounge chair. We had a great day. I got some much needed sunshine and relaxed a whole bunch. We can't wait to spend a ton of time this summer at Alabama Adventure! We had such a great day. I'm a very lucky mom!
