Trim the Tree

I gave up the hope of a pretty tree this year. I'm growing to love my special tree. Alex's handpainted ornament she gave me, personalized ornaments that remind me of the past, Austin's popsicle stick manger... doesn't really fit my tree but it is special none the less. THe snowman ornament is one of my favorites. My mom's neighbor, Diane, gave it to us as part of a wedding gift and I've always loved it.

Austin was too funny when we were getting out the ornaments. The picture where he is holding up the swirly candy cane looking thing... He said to me as I was getting more stuff out, "Mama, can I put the bacon on the tree?" What the crap? Bacon? Seriously? I looked at thim and he was holding that thing up. He seriously thought it was supposed to be bacon. In his defense, it does really look like Juniors treats. I can't wait for him to go to school and tell everyone we have bacon on our tree. Some people string popcorn or fruit loops. Not at the Evans house. No way. We string bacon on ours.

I'm so glad you decided to Ketchup! That is hilarious about the bacon ornament, I can't wait until Katie can say silly things like that. I love all the pictures!

Hi Kristy,

Thank you for the visiting Red Boa and leaving the sweet comment. You are a talented photographer. So good to see that my niece Melissa has a good girlfriend out there in Alabama. I oringinally started blogging to write about my twin daughters. Here is the link to that blog: http://pumpkindoodles.blogspot.com/
