Ok, why do I feel like I am standing here naked? I guess because this is so horrible! My kitchen was completely brown almost. And while the counter tops were a lovely shade of yellow from 1957, at least they broke up the sea of poop brown. Let's see... why did this kitchen not work? There was no lighting hardly at all. One single light fixture that held one 60 watt bulb was it. That just won't cut it. Then there is the terrible color. Doesn't really inspire you to make a creative dish for dinner does it? As much as I could clean this space, it still looked dirty... just because it was dark and brown. Then we have the cabinet pulls. I can see using pulls on cabinets, sure. But why in the Sam Heck would you put them in the center of the cabinet doors? And the flooring? Well I bought ceramic tile moons ago but the floor wasn't level so we were stuck in a place where we had pulled up the existing floor (that was yucky brown too!) and were stuck with the hardwood sub floor-- FOR A YEAR! Yuck! There was wasted space above the pantry that was just boxed in for no good reason too. I could go on and on why this kitchen was so yuck but I think the pictures speak for themselves. I'll just give you a minute to come back from puking... Ok, sorry about that. See the progress in the nest post.
