Project Kitchen | Progress
What's my solution? A fresh coat of paint, some new hardware and a new light fixture. We decided to paint the cabinets a Glossy Ultra White, replace the hardware with Satin Nickel hinges and pulls and install a flush mount track light with 4 bulbs. We Damon and I painted our tails off for 2 days. We labeled the cabinets, took them off, filled the previous pull holes with wood filler, cleaned, sanded, cleaned, sanded and cleaned again. We finally started painting. We painted the ceiling, the walls (Wicker Basket by Valspar) and the cabinets Ultra White. After we took back the wrong hinges we bought and got the right ones, the cabinets were finally ready to be re-hung. Things were looking good. So, we pulled the power to the house and were about ready to install the new light fixture. I tried until my arms were dead and I couldn't get the mounting plate to work. Damon did the same thing and we still couldn't get it to work. So what do I do when I can't make something work? Call 1-800-CALL-MAMA! What happens next... stay tuned.
