We knew all along that the floor was going to be an issue. The kitchen isn't part of the original house so it has a bit of a slope to it causing the floors not to be level. So, after some research, I found that that sell self-leveling cement that you can use to fix this type of problem. Lo and behold... it works. So, we leveled the floor to get it ready for the tilers. Oh, that's us too! We laid the tile, grouted it and got it looking good. I can see the light. Stay tuned for the reveal.
