Tannehill Fun

I think we have some big time Spring fever going on here. The gorgeous weather this weekend was a little teaser of whats to come and I can't wait! We decided to head out to Tannehill this weekend to soak up some of the sun. We drove up to the little chapel on top of the hill and walked around a bit when we found several really old headstones of people who were buried there. The oldest one, the guy was born in the 1700's... like before the Revolutionary War... before the USA was the USA. That's insane! Then we went down to the Grist Mill and practiced skipping rocks. It's no surprise to me that Damon can do it and I can't. Anyway, after that we went to the Sweet Shop to get a drink, and oh my heavens, they have som good lookin' stuff in there. I actually came home and made cake balls to see if I could replicate what they were selling, and I did! We walked all over the place and then ended up in a field playing baseball. It was so much fun just to hang out and relax. I don't do that nearly enough. A family of 4 could go for under $10.00. take a picnic lunch and as cheesy as it sounds, go enjoy your family for a day without phones, work, computers, etc.
