We survived another ball season!

 

 

We had a rough start this year but managed to pull out a couple wins. We had a makeup game against the 1st place Red Sox and never in a million years expected to beat hoped to get past the 3rd inning. the boys came out looking like champs and somehow managed to win. They were visitors and down by 1 in the 5th inning, 2 outs and 2 strikes. The kid hits the ball to Austin on the 3rd pitch and the kid at 2nd (who didn't have to run) ran anyway and Austin tagged him out. WE WON! It was incredible. I don't think I have ever gotten so excited over a ball game in my life. Austin n was over the moon excited!

Austin was nominated for all-stars, but we have decided not to play. We were going to miss out on so many fun summer things that he didn't want to miss out on. I couldn't decide what was best, so I gave him the pros and cons of both and he said he didn't want to play. I was so stressed about the decision but I feel good about it now. I can't wait to spend time with our family and friends this summer and have a ton of fun!
